The programme unfolded across several sessions. It began in the morning with an international conference dedicated to the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation and the Circular Economy Act, bringing together national and European institutions, companies and internationally renowned designers. In the afternoon, thematic round tables focused on artificial intelligence and the Digital Product Passport, sustainability measurement, greenwashing and social innovation.
Between the round tables, Circular Speeches by experts offered first-person accounts of their experience in the field and real-world examples of circularity.
Other forms of expression also accompanied Intelligenza Circolare: an exhibition curated by ISIA Roma Design dedicated to eco-innovation in products and services, followed by music and a theatre performance on climate change to close the event.
An international forum on ecodesign, the Digital Product Passport and artificial intelligence, bringing together leading voices from different countries and continents. An opportunity to exchange views on data, regulations, practical applications and future scenarios in which the relationship between innovation and sustainability is taking shape.

Maurizio Capone is the founder of Capone & BungtBangt, the first Italian band to perform exclusively with instruments made from recycled materials. Come suona il caos is part performance, part workshop. With depth and irony, Capone tells the story of how his instruments emerged from the chaos of waste that fills our homes and cities.
The circular future takes shape, project by project. This is the heart of “Eco-Innovation in the Making”, the exhibition created for the first edition of Intelligenza Circolare. In a single exhibition landscape in the garden of Villa Altieri in Rome, it brought together companies, institutions, foundations and universities from Italy and abroad, presenting projects and best practices that show circularity not only as a vision of the future, but as a reality already taking shape across local areas and supply chains.
Totems and installations transform products, services and systems into a journey in which each stop makes design choices, metrics and replicable solutions tangible — solutions that are already changing the way we produce, consume and live. The journey is deliberately transdisciplinary and international: it brings university eco-innovation alongside business know-how, and institutional regulation alongside experimentation in research centres, creating a collective narrative of a transition that extends well beyond Italy.
